Jaime Williams, PhD., R.Psych.

Clinical Psychologist

I am a registered doctoral psychologist providing care via telehealth (online, video therapy) to adults from all over Alberta and Saskatchewan. I also see some clients in person in Regina, SK. I practice cognitive-behavioural therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy for people experiencing depression and anxiety and for those who have a health concern with accompanying psychological symptoms.

I received my Ph.D. from the University of Regina in 2008 and completed a one-year predoctoral internship at the Queen Elizabeth-II Health Sciences Center in Halifax, NS. Both these programs are fully accredited from the Canadian Psychological Association. I was an Assistant Professor at the University of Regina (2016-2019) and have taught psychology at the undergraduate, graduate, and community levels. I still teach undergraduate classes in psychology at the U of R. I have lots of work published in academic journals and for those of you who are interested and would like a copy of my academic CV, just send me a message and I will send it along to you.

I have a Master's degree in Studio Art and love spending my free time painting. I am also Buddhist and spend lots of time "researching" my own psychology through meditation, plant medicine, and mindfulness. Mindfulness is one of my favorite things to explore with clients.
